I was very confused when I saw the name Michael Michael Kors but I learned that Michael Kors has subdivisions in its brand. Michael Michael Kors is the lower-end line from Michael Kors. Whereas Michael Kors Collection is the high-end version of Michael Kors. On their website, I have seen prices as high as $9990 for Michael Kors Collection and Michael Michael Kors as high as $695 for dresses. The collection is supposed to be for runway and the other line is more every day from what I have understood. To save money on Michael Kors it’s best you shop Michael Michael Kors and not the collection.
Where to shop for the best deals?
- Macy’s: Macy’s has sales going on often so you are likely to find a good steal here. For the lowest price possible, you should buy a “Last Act” item. However, please note that these items are final sale and non-returnable.
- Secondhand Shopping: I know pre-owned items are not everyone’s cup of tea, but you can save a lot of money and help the environment through sustainable shopping. Plus no one will know it’s pre-owned unless you tell them! I got a Michael Kors bag from Goodwill that was new with tags, and it saved me about 70% off the retail price. The purse was released about two years ago so it wasn’t the newest model, but it still looks great and cute!
- Michael Kors Online: I was surprised by this but they have good deals in their sale section and they offer free shipping. Plus you can get cashback with Rakuten.
Tie-Dye Crossbody
This was the first thing I ever bought from Goodwill and I was very skeptical about it since I was shopping online. And it was my first time shopping at Goodwill. I bid on this Michael Kors Jet Set East West Crossbody and won the bid and paid shipping for a total of $56.42. The retail price of this bag was $168 so I saved almost 70% off.
Pink Crossbody
I got an email from Michael Kors for an early access sale for KORSVIP members to get an extra 25% off Michael Kors’s sale items. KORSVIP is free to join and it’s their rewards program. I ended up buying this pink crossbody called the Jet Set Large Saffiano Leather Crossbody Bag.
This retails for $398 and I got it on sale for $99. I was able to use the extra 25% off sale items. So my total price paid was $74.25. And to sweeten the deal there was 10% cashback with Rakuten.
Blue Satchel
I bought this Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Medium Saffiano Leather Dome Satchel for $119 which is spectacular since it retails for $498. And then I got 15% back in cashback with Rakuten. Unfortunately, I couldn’t use any coupon codes because this is a sale item.
This satchel is perfect for travel because you can fit a lot of stuff in here. And it’s the only handbag where I can comfortably fit my sunglasses with their case in.
