Best Skincare Under $10 that’s Affordable and Effective

collection of skincare products with text to the right that says skincare under 10

Are you struggling to have a good skincare routine because you’re worried it will get too expensive? While there are luxury products out there that claim to transform your skin, a lot of good skincare is based on getting the basics right. Kind of like the little things, like getting enough sleep every day can make you feel better, and is also good for your skin. (goodbye dark circles!) If you’re wondering which skincare under $10 items are actually worth it, then this guide is for you. I am sharing some affordable skincare products that I have personally used and loved. And I made sure every skincare item is under $10 to meet this shopping challenge, although some may be minis (but hey, a little can go a long way!). We will go over products for sensitive skin, acne-prone skin, and items great for makeup lovers, too. The prices of these budget-friendly skincare items will vary from store to store, but you can shop for these at stores like Walmart, Amazon, Target, Ulta, and Sephora.

What’s in this Guide 📖

Best Sensitive Skincare Products Under $10

I currently only have one product that is specifically for sensitive skin. If there are other products you want me to try, please let me know in the comments.

Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Face Cleanser Review

aveeno oat cleanser standing up

The Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Face Cleanseris my favorite cleanser to use AM and PM. This cleanser is fragrance-free free which is important if you have sensitive skin to prevent irritants. And it’s specifically designed for sensitive skin. I have been using this for over a year now, and it’s a great, gentle cleanser to start the day or head to bed. Oats are generally known to help calm skin, so this is a perfect ingredient for your cleanser. The consistency of it is pretty thick, but it’s able to come out of the pump pretty easily. Shop Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Cleanser for $9.97 on Amazon.

Best Makeup Removers Under $10 💄

Garnier Micellar Water Review

garnier micellar cleansing water standing up

Garnier Micellar Water is the easiest makeup remover to use. All you have to do is add some water to a cotton round and gently wipe off the makeup from your face. I would prefer it over a makeup wipe because it’s more liquid, so you can make sure you really get everything off. And it feels a lot more gentle than a makeup wipe. I usually buy these in jumbo sizes, but I bought the mini in 100 ml for travel, and it’s an affordable price. You can get the cotton rounds for a low price, too. Shop Garnier Micellar Water 100ml on Amazon.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover Review

If you are using the Garnier Micellar water to take off your makeup, then you won’t need this. But if you already have a cleansing balm or oil you use to take off makeup and need something just for your eyes, then give this a try! To use this, I just put some of the liquid on a cotton round and gently wipe off the makeup. It’s great for waterproof eye makeup, too. I recommend this for people who wear heavy eye makeup. Shop Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover on Amazon for $9.97.

Cerave Waterproof Liquid Eye Makeup Remover Review

This is pricier than the Neutrogena Oil Free Makeup Remover, but it’s a lot more gentle in my opinion. This one has hyaluronic acid, and it’s fragrance-free. I haven’t compared them side by side, so I’m not sure which performs better. But I think the Cerave is better for lighter makeup or sensitive skin, and Neutrogena for heavier makeup. Shop Cerave Waterproof Liquid Eye Makeup Remover for $9.97 on Amazon.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes Review

Makeup removal wipes aren’t the best way to take off your makeup, but in my opinion, they’re better than nothing. Makeup wipes are great for travel when you can’t take liquids, trying multiple shades of lipstick on, or when you have had a long day and just want to sleep. These are my go-to makeup wipes because they are very popular and come with easy, resealable packaging. There’s also usually a lot of coupons and deals on these since they’re Neutrogena products. Shop Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes for $9.97 on Amazon.

Sephora Skincare Under $10

Even though Sephora has luxury skincare products, there is one brand that luckily has budget-friendly options for great skincare, and that extraordinary brand is The Ordinary! I am planning on doing a blog post on more Ordinary products, so stay tuned by following me on Instagram. These products are also sold at Amazon and Ulta.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum Review

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum bottle standing up

Hyaluronic Acid is well known to hydrate skin. It’s often recommended by dermatologists and totally works! What I love about this is that it focuses on hydration, and you don’t need to break the bank for it. Totally the best hydrating serum under $10. The dropper applicator makes it easy to control how much product you use. And it’s easy to ensure you don’t waste any product and get every drop of your serum. Shop The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid on Amazon.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Review

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid bottle standing up

I haven’t used this on my face since I don’t have textured skin, but I have seen this dermatologist recommendation from Dr.Neera’s videos, where she recommends this product for multiple uses. I have been using this for my underarms to lighten them. And I have also tried this for heels, scalp for dandruff, and upper arms. (KP) Unfortunately, I haven’t been consistent in using this, but I do think it’s been helpful so far. Shop The Ordinary Glycolic Acid on Amazon.

Best Skincare Moisturizer Under $10

These are a mix of body care and facial skincare moisturizers that are budget-friendly. None of these are scented, so they’re appropriate for sensitive skin, but not specifically designed for sensitive skin.

CeraVe Moisturizing Face & Body Cream Review

This cream has hyaluronic acid, which is great for hydration, and it’s fragrance-free. I used to use this on my face all the time, but lately I have upgraded to the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. If I had to go back to a drugstore face moisturizer, I would use this. But I still use this on my body sometimes since I have it. The size I have is a higher price but Ulta sells a 1.8 oz version for under $10

Nivea Cream Review

blue container of nivea creme

This cream has been around forever! My dad’s dad used to bring this from Dubai to India while he worked there. While it’s a tough product to use on your face because of its thickness, it’s great to use on your body, especially your hands. I always keep a mini size of this Nivea Cream in my purse. And I will refill the mini size with the bigger size. Totally great for wintertime. Shop Nivea Cream on Amazon.

Nivea Body Lotion Review

nivea body lotion bottle standing up

A lighter faster faster-absorbing alternative to the Nivea Cream. This is great for moisturizing your body all year round. I love to empty this and place it in my Conair Heated Lotion Dispenser. This product also has hyaluronic acid in it, and I have mentioned a bunch of times how amazing that is to keep your skin hydrated all the time. Shop Nivea Body Lotion on Amazon.

Neutrogena Hydrogel Face Mask Review

neutrogena hydrogel hydro boost mask standing up

The first time I tried this was in 2019, and I’m still obsessed. This hydrogel mask is great for intense moisturization, and it has a nice cooling effect to it if you’re in a hot place. They come in singles, so they are perfect for travel if you have a big event coming up. And it has our favorite ingredient, hyaluronic acid. You can check these out at Walmart or Target.

Acne Products Under $10

Acne can be super annoying, but luckily, there are some products out there that can make acne less terrible.

Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Spot Treatment Review

neutrogena on the spot acne treatment standing up

This is a benzoyl peroxide-based acne spot treatment. I recommend these for more stubborn pimples that are hard to get rid of. Make sure you apply a thin layer and don’t overdo it. This product can also be drying since it contains benzoyl peroxide, so ensure that you hydrate your skin well. Also lookup what ingredients you currently have in your skincare routine, as some ingredients don’t go well with benzoyl peroxide. Shop Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Spot Treatment on Amazon.

Pimple Patches Under $10

I have an entire detailed blog post on pimple patches for whiteheads, so please read this for all the details. They’re honestly all very similar; it’s just different brands, and some may offer ingredients in addition to the pimple patch. The Mighty Patch 24 count is for $8.99 at Target and Ulta.

Shop Pimple Patches on Amazon

  1. Neutrogena Stubborn Acne Ultra-Thin Blemish Dots
  2. COSRX Master Patch
