Why did I go to Koskii?
I had my cousin’s wedding in India, and I had only one day to find an outfit! Koskii is a brand I heard about on social media, so I wanted to try it out. Some brands similar to Koskii, which were recommended to me, were Neeru’s and Taruni.
Since I’m from Hyderabad, I visited the Koskii Hyderabad Sharath City, aka AMB mall location. This allowed me to check out multiple lehenga shops in one place. The mall is eight floors high, offering a boatload of shopping options.
What lehenga was I looking for? 🤔
I knew I wanted something grander when it came to a lehenga, because this was my close cousin’s wedding. The goal was to buy something under 20,000 INR, and I ended up spending 16,000 INR. The colors I had in mind for my lehenga were pink, blue, purple, and possibly green or orange.
Koskii Lehenga India Review – Try on Experience
People recommended that I visit a larger store for lehenga shopping. I decided to stick with my instinct and visit the mall, plus this would be my first Koskii Hyderabad review and shopping experience at the AMB mall. Also, given my limited time, this store’s curated selection made choosing a lehenga easier and faster. The sales associate was very friendly, which was one of the reasons the shopping was enjoyable. I put aside different styles I liked, and then she helped me try them on. As I tried the different lehengas on, I realized the first ones I tried were more casual. The later versions I picked were more grand, but also pricier.
I tried on an orange, dark purple, light purple, and dark blue color lehenga, but none of them felt like the one. There was one clear winner from the ones I shortlisted, and it was this raspberry pink colored lehenga. Which some people think is red, but trust me, it’s a Koskii lehenga pink in color, and the info card proves it. 😊

Koskii Lehenga under 20,000
All the lehengas in stores were readymade, and this is the description of the lehenga I got for around 16,000 rupees.
Blouse/Choli: This lehenga comes with a V-neck blouse. Personally, I thought the depth was fine and not too deep. It has silver zariwork throughout the blouse. There are tassels to adjust the back. The blouse comes with hooks in the back as well. It comes padded, but you can still wear a bra if you like.
Dupatta/Chunni: This comes with a matching color dupatta with silver zariwork throughout the border. Plus, there’s dotted zariwork design throughout the dupatta. You can drape this in multiple ways. I was recommended to drape this half-saree style since it’s a South Indian wedding.
Lehenga: This has silver zariwork going down vertically and a large border of zariwork at the bottom of the lehenga. The lehenga is made of crepe fabric, and it comes with a cancan. (A cancan is a big net skirt that is under the lehenga, designed to create volume.)
Koskii Readymade Lehenga In-store Tailoring
The lehenga I got was a size 38. This is equivalent to a size medium for the blouse, and extra large for the lehenga skirt. The store associate explained that all the lehengas were extra large because they are designed to be adjustable. All you have to do is pull on the tassels to the side. However, I think online, if you order a medium, even the lehenga will be a medium. Regardless, I didn’t have any fit issues with the lehenga or blouse.
The blouse was originally sleeveless, but we wanted a more modest look for the wedding. So, we had them add sleeves to the blouse. I also liked getting sleeves added because the zari work on the blouse felt a bit scratchy around my arms. The smooth sleeve fabric prevented that feeling, and it was a lot more comfortable.
They took my measurements the same day. Thankfully, they were able to get the sleeves added quickly since I needed them for the next day.
Koskii Lehenga Review
My review of Koskii as a store was great, as I felt confident with the purchase I made. I liked how this lehenga was easy to drape as a half saree instead of your traditional dupatta look. This has made it easier to wear than draping a saree. The store associate allowed me to video the draping process, which was super helpful. And if you do drape it like a half saree, you need safety pins. You will also need help hooking and unhooking the blouse.
Since the lehenga comes with a cancan, it was very heavy. It takes up a lot of space, so it’s not the best for travel. I had the option to get the cancan removed in stores. But I decided to keep it because I wanted the grand look for the wedding. This was my first time wearing a lehenga with a cancan, so I’m unsure how other cancans compare to this. The lehenga was difficult to walk in, and getting in and out of the car required help. So, I recommend sitting or standing in one place when wearing this. On the bright side, it looked great in photos and did have the grand look to it!
The Final Look for my Koskii Review!

📸 This photo was edited for lighting, clarity, background, and more to feel editorial.
This is the final look on the day of the wedding! I accessorized with jhumka earrings, a choker, red bangles, red nail polish, and my Tory Burch mini Miller metallic crossbody bag. My Apple Watch ended up sneaking in, too! 🤭
Unfortunately, I couldn’t match my lipstick exactly to the look since my travel lippies were limited, but it wasn’t a terrible combo. Overall, I loved the look of this outfit, and many family members told me it was a great fit too! So my Koskii review is 5 stars for me, despite the cancan chaos! I will be writing more Indian fashion reviews, so subscribe to emails for more updates. ⭐️You can rent this exact lehenga in a medium on Pickle.
